Powerpoint Chart Colours

Does anyone know how I can add new colours to the default Powerpoint Chart palette? I want to use a colour that isn't in the chart palette but is in the fills palette on the drawing toolbar.

When the embedded Powerpoint Chart is open, you select

Tools > Options > Color Tab

Do not select one of the color boxes on the bottom two rows of colors because those change depending on the presentation. Instead select one of the colors to change in the top 5 rows. Click on Modify and change the color.

Now when you click the paint bucket with one of the data series, or whatever part of the chart you want to use the custom color on, you will see the new color appear in the palette.
