Animal Rights Presentation

I am doing a presentation about the RSPCA for animal rights and adopting animals and the history of it and stuff like that. So I was wondering if you had any presentation ideas for me?

Here are a couple of ideas

1. Make it visual. Use pictures where you can - just like the old fashioned lecture slide presentations. I a presentation 55% of the information we receive is visual.

2. Tell stories. We often forget that a presentation is a story - use little stories to help illustrate the points

3. If you are telling people about history it may work well to compare what was happening in the world at the same time as your story. Filmmakers use this technique a lot. For example in 1824 the RSPCA was founded - this was only nine years after the Battle of Waterloo....

I know that this may sound daft, particularly if you work for the RSPCA, but you may want to contact them, particularly their press office and ask if they have any material you can use - particularly things like a photo archive. It may be worth a visit to their archive or library if they have one.
