Help with creative presentation on poetry slam?

Hello!

Well, tomorrow I have to give a presentation "representing my experience" at a poetry slam I went to- basically I just have to give the class a feel of how the poetry slam made me feel.

This sounds easy enough, right? The teachers are SUPER flexible and nice (it's a class about helping the community through creative arts). Ok, so, my problem is two of the other girls who went are writing their own poem and reading it for the presentation, which was my first idea, but I don't want it to seem like I'm copying them. Another girl is going to find pictures from the night and just show like a montage of pictures... so I don't want to do that. Then beyond those two I'm stuck for ideas!

Hi, Well your friends have covered 2 learning styles, they being audio and visual...why dont you try and link your presentation to the third...kinesthetic?? i.e the touchy feely stuff. Showing / building / making something and then getting the audience to try...? Paula
