Plssssssssss help or i might be sacked. I need help w a farewell presentation

thanks very much if u r reading my post now...

i have 2 weeks to prepare a corporate presentation to 100 people at a farewell party...

to summarize, my firm provides scholarships to bankers around the world to come to my country to study a Master program for 1 year. This program has been ongoing for 3 years and this year, we have 6 bankers from different countries coming to spore to do the master program under the scholarship program and they are due to graduate in june this year so we are hosting a farewell party to these 6 bankers and will invite many managers, directors to this party. The theme of the presentation is really to showcase their 1 year of efforts, joy, happiness & finally showing their fruits of labor (cos graduating soon) and to wish them all the best and bid farewell.

I have thought of a concept. It is as follows:

1) The first slide : "The universe is huge...but friendship transcends over time, space and distance.....to bring people from far together...
2) 2nd slide : How was that possible? All thanks to the scholarship program.
3) 3rd slide: Provides a brief introduction of the scholrship program e.g, "Set up in 2003, the program is developed in collaboration with........"
4) 4th slide : Show a couple of pictures of past scholars hard at work or at play
5) 5th slide: So, who do we have this year???
6) 6th slide: Ladies & Gentlemen, we are pleased to present to you:
7) 7th slide to 12th slide (cos there are 6 bankers so 1 banker per slide): each slide shows their pictures at work & at study & their name and what bank they come from.
8) 13th slide: Of cos, all these would not have been possible without the help of the many mentors they had during their internships....so A BIG THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!!!.......(& show a few pictures of the bankers with their mentors).
9) 14th slide : It has been a long journey...there have been times when the going gets tough...
10) 15th slide : show several pictures of the bankers hard at study
11) 16th slide : And of cos, there have been times of joy and happiness
12) 17th slide : show several pictures of the bankers having tons of fun in different settings...
13) 18th slide : ...But most importantly, their efforts over the last 1 year is finally bearing fruit & they are due to graduate next month.
14) 19th slide : show their whole class photo and circle those 6 bankers in the photo to identify them
15) 20th slide : We trust that it has been a wonderful learning experience.
16) 21th slide : On behalf of our company, we wish you all the best & Farewell!!! (Plays Clapping sound at end)

Firstly, i need feedback on whether my above concept is ok....gimme your honest feedback. is it too corny or childish?? Are some of the sentences too lengthy or do they sound weird??? Feel free to change the sentences for me so that it may be more concise....

Secondly, i need a good inspiring music to go with this presentation and i have absolutely no idea what music i shd use. One thing to note is that I cannot use music where there is people singing....so kind folks out there, pls gimme song names that would be good for my presentation theme....

I think your concept looks good. Have it run on automatic. That would create a better atmosphere.

As for theme song, how about going for The Theme from Forrest Gump. Quite fitting in this instance.

another good song might be... the graduation song. Its a good song. i dont know if it will help, but hey check it out good luck

Your concept is excellent. But ensure that u have pictures or designs to symbolise whatever u have to say and dont just show the text. Never read out anything from the slide. Have your script while u r presenting. Little references to the script are fine but dont over do it. Play some light peppy music in the background. Good luck.
