So long as you can hold your nerve.

Spend 15 minutes of your 30 preparing/designing/deciding what to say. Only then should you think about "writing" (by which I don't mean you should literally write your presentation!). We train people to use a spider-gram approach where-by you jot down everything that could be included in your presentation on a (big) sheet of paper, connecting the linked items - then you find three (or so) big ideas (or clusters of points based upon the number of linkages): these are the big three ideas you can cover in a short presentation.

If you've got time, jot notes on index cards.

Voila - a presentation in 20 minutes with 10 minutes practice time!
