Perhapd you could use a chart detailing the amount of people could affect/has affected. Or you could use a timeline-type visual detailing how refusing birth control leads to other problems- unwanted pregnancy, more burden on the welfare system, etc.

Charts and graphs are often useful tools to demonstrate complicated ideas in a simpler manner.
