nomination speech

i really need help in writing a speech. Its for nomination of school captain and i am no good a t writing speeches. the topic is, what are three important qualities needed in a good leader and why? if any one could help me it would be very much appreciated. sarah

I would probably put the three qualities of leadership as

- Honesty
- Integrity (does what he or she says)
- Ability to motivate others

Your speech should illustrate how you have been able to meet these three qualities. If you can solicit feedback from other pupils and teachers about these.

Aswell as the above, there are also other points to look at.

1) As a captain you need the respect of the other players.

2) confidence. they must be confident in their own abiliaties,

3) as above, a strong motivator.

2.needs to show dedication to the school.

3.needs to be someone who people can go to talk to if they have a problem.
