Powerpoint backgound music

Hello everyone.

I have a question.

I want to have a powerpoint run in a loop, meaning the slides I have in the presentation just loop over and over again till somone stops them

I have windown media player playing hours and hours of mp3's as the background music, becuase the music is not related to the slides in any way, just simply playing music in the background.

Now I have some slides that have video clips in them, some are 30 seconds long some are 5 minutes long.

All plays fine, but the problem I'm havinf is when the video clips start to play, then you can hear of course the background music being played from Windows media player, and of coirse now the sound from the video clip.

Is there any add in plug in or what ever you call them where powerpoint can send a comand to windows media to make it pause, or mute for the duration of the video clip that is playing in the slideshow?

OR maybe there is another way to insert all the mp3's that i want as background music into powerpoit and then control the music in that way when a viideo clip is being started in the slideshow?

Thank you all for any help you may offer.
