Hi All

My husband has an internal interview and has to do a 30 minute presentation followed by 15 mins questions and asnswer as part of the interview.

Could anyone tell me how many slides it's ok too use in that time frame?

Really appreciate a speedy respone if possible .

Thanks in advance

What is the best number of slides for a 30 minute presentation

The real secret is to time the presentation to ensure that you have it at the right length. I would suggest 20 -25 minutes would be great as you do not want to bore them.

Traditional wisdom says 1 slide per minute, but I tend to use more than that. I once saw one company use 75 slides in 20 minutes to great effect. They effecively used a new slide per bullet point.

Thanks Doctor, HR have told him it has to be a 30 min presentation followed by 15 mins Q&A then a 45 min interview. So you wouldn't say that 40 slides would be over doing it?
It's a complex problem in Aviation they have asked him to address so the slides are a big help in making his point.

Thanks
