Firstly, we need to ascertain your strengths and weaknesses in making presentations. Secondly, you need to research on this particular company in question. What makes them tick? Why would they want to tie up with you? Who are the gate-keepers etc.. There are so many techniques and tips on making great presentations. I have to know what is it that you want to improve on. 30 Minute Art presentation
Hi,
I'm looking for fun/interactive ideas on presenting the topic of Feminist art to a classroom of future teachers (university level). The goal of my presentation (30 minutes) is so that classmates leave the presentation with an idea on what feminist art is. I am at a loss as to what to do. I was thinking about getting students to create a feminist piece of art as doing something is best for remembering. Do you have any ideas that could improve this or different ideas? We are 2 people doing the presentation and can use powerpoint as a tool. Thanks |

Hi dimitrz
Just a quick thought. Presentations are great at showing passion, flair, commitment and so on - but research illustrates the obivous: they're not good ways to get over hard data (such as cash-flow predictions and so on).
The best way to think about this presentation is as something which makes them excited about the prospect of working with you and interested enough to make them want to read the hardcopy you'll take with you which contains the "hard facts". I'm not saying "no data" in presentations, just saying "bit picture data" - the details are for paper. S
