Ice Breakers

Hi All

I am a trainer for a big company, pretty new at the job, and one of my weaknesses is the lack of Ice breakers.

Can anyone help?

I would really like to know as many ice breakers as possible for between 5-15 people.

Hi - I use these icebreakers and they work well:
1) The Sweetie Game
Each person receives 4 sweets and has to tell the group one thing they have never done. If any members of the group have done this, they need to give that person a sweet. You end when only 1 person has all the sweets (or until time runs out!)
2) I went shopping…..
The first person to start the game begins with ‘I went shopping and I bought…’ They then say what they bought using the first letter of the alphabet - A. The second person then repeats the statement from the first person and adds their own using the second letter of the alphabet – B. The game then continues using the next letter of the alphabet for the next person. The game can be played until you reach Z or until someone forgets what was bought.
3) The Bucket/bin Game
Ask the group to stand in a circle. The leader has a bin or bucket and tells the group that it is no longer a bin or bucket and gives an example of what it is e.g. seat - they can demonstrate how it can be a seat. The bin is then passed around the circle and each person should say what it is e.g. drum, a shower if you put water in it and make holes in the bottom! etc. The game should be played at a fast pace to get the participants thinking on their feet and good for sales training to link in features and benefits! You can also use lots of different objects with this one - banana, remote control...whatever you can get your hands on really.

Also - you might find ideas at http://www.deepfun.com/pointless.html

Hope these help!
