blank slides in presentation

Hi, I'm wondering if someone could help. I have done my slide show for my presentation, have added music. But when I go to "preview slide show" I am getting a blank slide after every one of my photos. I feel like I have tried a zillion ways to rectify this but alas nothing is working - I'm sure it's just something simple that I'm missing but I desperately need some feedback from someone else's brain. I also can't get my slide show numbering to start at 1...it starts at 45 - need some help there as well. thanks so much in advance.
