Update links while in Slide Show

Hi, I'd like to be able to update links while in a one-slide slideshow. Autoupdate works fine while in edit, but I'd like to see data update while the slide is being presented. I'm linking to a spreadsheet that periodically ****s in new data and I'd like to have the slide update when that happens.
