In The Time of the Butterflies creative presentation

I have to make a relevant, informative, and creative presentation for my english class. we were told to pick a topic from the novel that we are reading and I am reading In the Time of the Butterflies. I picked Trujillo (dictator of the Dominicican Republic) and his assassination of the Mirabal sisters. We have to include info on the author and themes from our book (book is about woman standing up for what they belive in, even in the face of death). I know they made a movie out of the book and I thought I could include part of it somehow but I'm stuck on what else I should do. PS: TEACHER DOES NOT LIKE POWERPOINT PRES's and there's not really a time limit. I would really appreciate any tips you guys have.
