Interview presentations - make and impression
Having sat through too many interviews to remember, I would offer the following advice to anyone who is asked to present as part of the interview:
1. ring the interviewers in advance and ask them what they would like covered, they will tell you what they want covered and how 2. take your own pens, prepare a one page exec summary to hand in a the end, shows professionalism and your ability to write 3. be different, remember, the interview panel has most likely sat through the same mundane topic several times, use metaphors, tell a story, use props 4. be passionate, if you cant get excited about the topic, why should they listen, use active words not passive and lastly, your objective is to convince, so make it memorable, be persuasive, and keep it simple.
