swf file in a power point presentation

Hi guys and girls,

You have probably heard this question a thousand times, so i do apologise if i go over old ground here.

I have inserted a swf file in a pp and then emailed it out to see if the recipents can see the swf.

Several came back adn said they could where one of them said they could.
I dont see why the others didnt.

I embeded the swf file, so would it be there version of power point, their office or their operating system

I sent out another test and a person who couldnt see now can, hmm.

would it be the presentation itself causing the slide where the swf is not to show?? it works on my computer.

any ideas , help or hints are welcome cheers

1 Do they run the same verions of PowerPoint and Windows as you?
2 Can they actully watch SWF files normally (that is, outside of PPT)?

If it's not those then we need to check the hard stuff!
